We have always used organic soy wax for all our wax melts as an alternative to mass-produced, toxic paraffin wax. Both paraffin production and the burning of candles made from it are harmful to the environment and can damage your health too. For us, the decision to choose soy wax was an easy choice. Its production and use are better for the environment because they are not made from petroleum-based oil. It is better for your health as it is non-toxic when burnt. Although Soy Wax is more expensive than paraffin, we believe it’s a small price to pay for choosing a more environmentally friendly alternative. Soy will burn for longer and have a better fragrance throw, saving you money in the long run and reducing how many melts you buy overall. Soy wax is also a biodegradable material, which means it is capable of decomposing naturally back into the environment. This also makes them easier to clean up if you have a little spill.
