We are often asked why we choose to make our candles using soy wax. There are various other waxes out there that can be used, and the main competitor to soy is paraffin wax. Paraffin wax’s production is harmful to the environment and when you burn those candles, they are harmful to your health and home. Although soy wax candles are a little more expensive, they are 100% worth the few extra pennies to protect your health and the future of our planet.
We chose soy wax over other alternatives because we don’t want to contribute to animal cruelty in any form, and the same goes for all materials we use in our products and packaging. We want to ensure that our candles are suitable for as many people as possible.
Although Soy Wax is generally more expensive, it will always work out to be better value because of its eco-friendly aspects. Soy candles will burn for longer and have a better fragrance throw. This means your candle will last longer than mass-produced paraffin candles, saving you money in the long run and reducing your impact on the planet. Soy wax is also a biodegradable material which means it is capable of decomposing naturally back into the environment. This also makes them easier to clean up if you have a little spill.
